This may be a little late, but it’s still hilarious none the less – Someone just emailed us this.
VERDICT: SHAME. Congratulations, if you’re trying to be a scary Easter bunny for Halloween, you’ve succeeded. If you weren’t trying to be, then um… creeeeeepy. Hmm, were you ever on “To Catch a Predator?”

What the f*ck are you? The Carrot Top of the DJing? What’s next? Are you going to smash some watermelons all over your crowd like Gallagher the comedian?
VERDICT: SHAME. Put away your childish sign and get back to DJing for your mature New Years Eve crowd. I’m not sure who the sign is meant for, but if you’re going to carry it around to gigs and flaunt it, you probably deserve to get hated on. Just sayin’.

With the Namm show upon us, expect to see a bunch of new goodies get unveiled this week – Some of which being the most anticipated ones: the new Rane 68 four channel mixer, Serato 2.0 and Ableton Bridge (the collaboration between Serato and Ableton.)
If you live under a rock and haven’t seen any of the new things, here you go.

Each Display Mode features with a clean design and your choice of ways to play with expanded Library Views that allow you to easily spot your favorite track to bring to the mix.Â
Additional tools can be activated in Scratch Live that give you an expanded view and instant control of a range of free plug-ins including the SP-6 Sample Player, brand new Serato DJ FX and direct access to Ableton Live via “The Bridgeâ€.Â
You can also add the optional Serato Video-SL plug-in to bring exciting visuals into your performance.
ABLETON BRIDGE (SERATO meets ABLETON)
VERDICT: FAME. We’re pretty stoked about all the new developments thus far! Now to try them out!

So, I talked to Eric D-Lux from Power 106 and got confirmation that Pauly D will not be DJing today, rather Friday or next week instead.
Like most of you, we were looking forward to hearing him do a radio mix, so in the meantime here’s some Pauly D videos to hold you over.
VERDICT: SHAME. Need we say anymore?

Another celebrity turned DJ, “DJ Caroline D’amore.”
What do you guys and girls think? We’ve heard about here many times before and it’s mainly been negative. Â Watch her toward middle of the first video when she’s supposedly “mixing” doesn’t appear that she’s really doing anything and she just does the same dance and “scratch in” over and over again each song. Interesting. I’m beginning to think that all I have to do is dance when I DJ and pretend like I’m a badass while playing a pre-made mix to keep people like this from stealing my gigs.
Oh yeah – according to wikipedia she claims that DJ AM is the reason she became a DJ. Wow. AM was amazing. She’s no where near it.
VERDICT: We say SHAME, however if you think otherwise, we’ll change it.

Take your eyes off her boobs and focus on the general picture – What do you notice wrong here?
VERDICT: SHAME. She’s cute, but that doesn’t warrant a FAME verdict. Did anyone happen to notice where her needle is on the record while she’s supposedly mixing? Crazy, I didn’t know the labels were time coded too.

Ladies and gents, we bring you the first Fake Off of 2010!
